Reinheit: 4N-4N5 wird zum Aufdampfen dünner Metallfilme in verschiedenen Branchen wie Halbleiterchips, optoelektronischen Geräten, Sensoren und OLEDs verwendet.
Geringe Reinheit: 3N-4N wird zum Schmelzen von hochschmelzenden Metallen und zum Schweißen von Schienen verwendet und wird auch als Desoxidationsmittel im Stahlherstellungsprozess verwendet.
